Lupe Voss
Lupe’s enthusiasm and unparalleled technical abilities are responsible for her successful rise as one of the most desirable colour educators within the Aveda Network. As an educator, mentor and training consultant for Aveda distribution, her reputation for excellence spans the globe.
Lupe began her career as an educator through the Aveda Purefessional program and has trained directly with Aveda Artistic Director David Adams. She is known for her technical acumen and her “real-life” classroom style. She has a passion for learning and a heartfelt desire to make learning fun.
The demand for her time and training has grown exponentially and is now extending her education influence in Aveda’s Advance Academy Classes. A gifted educator, a world-class colourist and a truly warm and caring individual, Lupe epitomizes the true spirit of Aveda Education. ...

Geno Chapman
Geno has excelled at redefining the perceptions of hairstyling and creates hairstyles that are both dynamic and versatile. His personality invites his clients to be a part of the fun and creativity of hairstyling while maintaining a great attention to detail. His work can be viewed on the Style Network's How do I look?and Stucks television series. He practices his craft in Beverly Hills on some of Hollywoods elite. Geno teaches advanced haircutting and styling techniques to the Aveda Network and inspires hairdressers to continually work on perfecting their craft. Geno has finished a men's haircutting video for Subject+Design as well as multiple haircutting DVD series for the company of INSPIRE CREATIVE AGE to help other hairdressers with their education. He has toured Asia, Europe, Canada and the U.S to promote how important advanced education is to build a sustainable career.
Geno, has joined Julian August Salon as an Artistic Director to train and take the Team to the next level.

Gaby Loza
As the Salon Manager - Coordinator, Gaby is constantly creating and checking systems to make sure your experience at Julian August Salon is relaxing and enjoyable.
"There is a sense of calm about Gaby and she is a great listener" Lupe describes Gaby.
Gaby continues to grow her skill by taking Aveda business courses through out the year. Her interest in problem solving and follow through is what keeps Julian August running smoothly.

Leah
Leah’s role at Julian August since 2008 is in the business area of the salon. She is one of our coordinators making sure you are set with all of your appointment needs.
Leah is currently furthering her education at Cal Stare Fullerton and working toward her Major in Kinesiology.
In her free time she enjoys photography, Running and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.

Kelli Ochoa
Kelli is our Esthetician on staff and has been an employee of Julian August for over 10 years. She has worked in the salon in many different capacities from Esthetics to the Front Desk Coordinator.
Kelli is currently promoting Beauty on Demand skin care within the salon. She has a relaxing, gentle touch and her passion for knowledge of skin care helps keep our Julian August Guests up to date with the latest AVEDA skin technology.
With her years of experience and technique she is helping our Guests restore their skin to its true potential. Kelli utilizes Aveda’s plant based formulas and renewing treatments, to balance their skin while being environmentally conscious. Kelli believes, "We all deserve healthy, younger looking skin and emotional well being".

Christin Clark
Christen is a 28 year old Mom of three beautiful children ages 10 years, 3 years and 4 months. Christen and her husband Mike make their home in East Highland. When she is not with her family her passion turns to her work at Julian August. Christen loves the people she works with and the engaging environment provided by her mentor, salon owner, Lupe Voss.
Christen has been associated with Julian August since 2001. During that time she has become an advocate of the Aveda concept and believes strongly in its mission and values. She enjoys the fact that she is having an impact on the world by using natural renewable resources, and providing world-class service to her clients.
When asked what she likes best about her profession at Julian August, Christen states that she loves making each client feel special, and better about their self-image. She enjoys the opportunity to be creative and artistic. She is especially motivated by colouring techniques and highstyle.
Also important is her ability to continuously grow in her profession through on-going educational resources and the outstanding example provided by Lupe. She aspires to follow Lupe’s example, sharing the expertise and passion with upcoming stylists. Last, but certainly not least, she enjoys the camaraderie and fun that she finds at the salon.

Leticia Martinez
Leticia began her career at Julian August Salon in February 2008. She enjoys attending advanced education classes to keep her skills sharp.
Leticia loves to use these new techniques and customizing them for her Guests.
Most importantly, She loves to make her Guests look and feel Beautiful. Her skills from Make-up application to up styling to hair cutting, show her passion for her craft.
