Laura Bride
Laura has been with Julian August Salon since March 2007 and has successfully finished the Intermediate Training Program.

Angela Candelera
Angela has been at Julian August since 2004. With the passion of "knowing",she has progressed in the salon from the Assistant Program to training the New Talent.
Her training has come from a few people who have mentored her through her process.
From Editorial,working with Peter Gray(featured in various vogue,Uno,Harpers Bazaar magazines), to her constant training in Los Angeles for Hair Cutting working with Sandra Showers(Sassoon/Aveda). Not only focusing on Hair Cutting, Dressing Hair, and Color, Angela specializes in Hair Locs Extentions.
With Angela's busy schedule at the salon, she finds traveling to New York to assist Lupe at the New York Aveda Academy, to assisting in numerous shows and various courses around the country quite exciting.
Angela is active with local Actors and Associations donating her skills for different productions.
Her patients, calm nature, and attention to detail not only adds up to an amazing hair cut and color, she cares.
Angela's desire for continual education keeps her fresh in her work and creativity alive. ...

Christin Clark
Christen is a 28 year old Mom of three beautiful children ages 10 years, 3 years and 4 months. Christen and her husband Mike make their home in East Highland. When she is not with her family her passion turns to her work at Julian August. Christen loves the people she works with and the engaging environment provided by her mentor, salon owner, Lupe Voss.
Christen has been associated with Julian August since 2001. During that time she has become an advocate of the Aveda concept and believes strongly in its mission and values. She enjoys the fact that she is having an impact on the world by using natural renewable resources, and providing world-class service to her clients.
When asked what she likes best about her profession at Julian August, Christen states that she loves making each client feel special, and better about their self-image. She enjoys the opportunity to be creative and artistic. She is especially motivated by colouring techniques and highstyle.
Also important is her ability to continuously grow in her profession through on-going educational resources and the outstanding example provided by Lupe. She aspires to follow Lupe’s example, sharing the expertise and passion with upcoming stylists. Last, but certainly not least, she enjoys the camaraderie and fun that she finds at the salon.

Betsy Olvalle
Betsy has been with Julian August Salon since 2005. "I feel lucky to work in a place where I consider my co workers as my second family. Being in a place where we have the best training and up to date classes gives me the confidence in my craft."
Betsy takes pride in her commitment to making her Guests feel beautiful. She loves that she can touch someone’s life by giving a great haircut or beautiful color.

Leticia Martinez
Leticia began her career at Julian August in February 2008. She has finished the intermediate training program at Julian August Salon focusing on New and Modern Hair Color and Hair Cutting techniques.
Leticia loves to use these new techniques and customizing them for her Clients.
Most importantly, She loves to make her clients look and feel Beautiful.

Daisy Delgado
Daisy started with Julian August Salon in 2000 in an R.O.P program for Yuccaipa High School.
"Lupe inspired me to do hair so, I went to cosmetology school, passed my test and joined Julian August Salon. I have been going through the training program and it has been a great learning environment, yet challenging. I chose Julian August because you are always pushed to better yourself, and expand your education. They have taught me to never give up and I am a stronger and better person for that."

Ashley Atkinson
Ashley began her career at Julian August in February 2008 where she received extensive training in order to perfect her craft. This career path is a perfect fit for her, which allows her to express her artistic ability. She enjoys all aspects of doing hair.
Having a position at an Aveda Salon is in alignment with Ashley’s lifestyle as she is environmentally conscience is all aspects of her life.
Ashley is inspired by music as well as fashion. She feels her inspirations keep her well up to date with the latest trends.
“Education is a very important in my career and life", therefore, on going education will be a Constant for her.
